Sperm Freezing
Sperm Freezing is done for success in assisted conception in case of sterile couple. This is done for reasons whence the sperm has to be stored for later use. The concept is similar to egg/embryo freezing in case of females. It is also useful in case of third-party reproduction using artificial insemination. The sperm are frozen in a special testified medium in the laboratory at the clinic. The sperm is frozen and stored upon permission from sperm donors. A detailed record and label are sincerely maintained in the sperm bank in the clinic. Post thaw analysis is done in each case of freezing to ascertain the sperm survival rate.
