Egg Donation

Egg Donation process is where fertile women donate their egg for process of assisted reproduction in the sterile females who stopped menstruating either naturally or prematurely. In such females the stock of eggs is exhausted. Egg donation comes into picture when such infertile women wish to attain pregnancy.

In egg donation generally the eggs are donated by young ladies and retrieval is in the manner similar to that used in case of test tube babies all over the World. The egg so received is fertilized by the sperms of the recipient’s husband. The embryos so formed is placed in the recipient’s females womb and then treated like in case of test tube baby process. Egg donation involves the process of in vitro fertilization as as the eggs are fertilized in the clinic’s lab.
